分班考试的重要性对于四大名校来说，一般是需要提前签约进重点班，分内班考试进最好的理实班容机会较少，进次一级的重点班机会就比较大。长郡和附中都只有理科实验班和平行班之分，两校的理科实验班想通过分班考试进就比较有难度。雅礼和一中的理科实验班都有分层，想进最好的班机会小，但进次一级的班机会就大很多。
而对于非四大的其他学校，只要分班考试考的好，通过分班考试进重点班的机会还是比较大的。

我是梅中的学生。去年学校改成公办的了，所有户口属于梅中那一带的毕业生都能进，应该还是会有招生考试的。现在别急，关注学校网站上的招生专栏，再过一段时间网上招生会开始，去梅中校园网上登记就行了，会有校负责人发送考试的相关要求和时间到你所填的联系方式上的。

招生一般是在
1，江都邵伯进行一次考试，大约在扬州统招之前。
2，在仪征版也会有一次类似权的考试，时间同上。
（前两个考试都是招收的外地的小孩，录取比率大约是1比5，当然，扬州市区内的小孩也可以去考试的。）
3，就是扬州的统招了。
