Remembering My Grade School Days【回忆我的中学生活】 第1篇： My grade school days are the most wonderful time I have ever had. They laid more stress on observation than on memorization. Thus we had much time to talk over and trade our learning experiences. The feeling of being friendless was a constant source of pain to me. Those unhappy grade school days have of course long been over. I still have an abhorrence for any dismal atmosphere and lonesomeness, but hardened by experience I now find them less disturbing than they were.

On the first day, everyone was excited and really enjoyed it, so did I. We greeted our new teachers and when we had classes, we introced ourselves.

Everything was brilliant. We study in a new classroom with new desks and chairs. We also have new equipment. I found two air conditioners in my classroom and one in my dormitory.

Maybe you think that it was fortunate to have such a nice environment. But for me, there was something unfortunate happening. I was sick on the first day. Just because of the air conditioners. How can I express my feelings? It was the first day to go to a new school and everyone was excited to see new things. However, you were sneezing, coughing all day, what would you think?

I got a bad cold. And it soon became a fever. I felt so bad.

Thank goodness! I am OK now, so is my study. I found that there are many differences between junior and senior. What’ more, the older we are, the harder we need to work. Most of my teachers teach very fast at class, so we need to work hard.

We always have choices, to choose what kind of life we want, to choose how to spend a day, to choose what to do when meeting a problem. I will choose to work hard, for my future and my dreams.

I began school at seven in accordance with the law in a remote village. Short of funds, the school had only a few classrooms, all poorly constructed. Needless to say, our teachers were few, too. Once, on our way home, a bunch of naughty students found a crickets' hole and exerted themselves to inject water into it with loud cheers. The girls were no less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.
